Valentine’s Day Menu Recipe Round-up

February 5, 2016 by Foodscape

Hey all! Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I thought this would be a good week for a Valentine’s Day recipe round-up. I have created a couple menu choices that I’m really looking forward to trying from some of my favorite bloggers for the special day. Check them out and see what you want to try too! Generally I change some ingredients, like I never use cane sugar, but I do use rapadura sugar. Let me know if you need any help with modifications.

This post is going to be a bit short because I’m traveling this week, but next week I’ll be here telling you all about my favorite soup to go with the soup broth recipe that goes with everything you made last week…hopefully you froze a bit of it?

These are definitely suitable plant-based dinner party options, but my Mr. Wonderful and I usually have a night just the two of us. We have a pretty quirky tradition of watching the 300 and drinking chocolate martini’s every year for Valentine’s Day since that’s how we spent our first Valentine’s Day together when we were “just friends.” What’s your tradition?

These menu’s are so cute, you’re making me want to make more of an effort this year! Um, I think we ended up at Bob Evans last year and it doesn’t get much more romantic than that. Oh yes it does, we brought the kids. That sealed the deal! Tough decision but I’m going with menu #1! Have a great weekend traveling =)

Thank you so much for this post! Definitely great recipes for Valentine’s treat to make the whole family happy. You are awesome, so thanks again.

Welcome! I'm Michaell, the recipe creator and photographer behind Foodscape. My challenge? How to take my favorite recipes and re-invent them using whole-food, processed-free, gluten-free and plant-based ingredients...and sneaking extra fruits and veggies into every recipe. Too tough? Not for this girl!
