The Green Mango Smoothie

The Green Mango Smoothie

The Green Mango Smoothie – Foodscape

This green smoothie is perfect for those who only have a basic blender.  My secret–start with the greens and dates with water before adding the rest of the ingredients.  You will have just as silky a drink as your high-powered blender friends, and I have to admit, I was licking the glass and spoon this was sooooo goooood!

After reading a post about spinach, I made sure I paired my daily spinach with a healthy dose of vitamin C for maximum nutrient absorption.  Since most of us ladies have a tough time as it is absorbing iron and calcium, this is especially important!  Mangoes are a great source of vitamin C and Vitamin A.

I am also increasingly amazed at the benefits of hemp seeds due to their high omega 3-6-9 balance, complete protein, complete amino acid profile.  Once you read the benefits, you may wonder why you buy a separate protein powder.  If you haven’t started making hemp seeds part of your daily routine, this is one of my favorites!

The Green Mango Smoothie

  • 18-20 Spinach leaves, which is about 3/4 cup. Add more if you have a high-speed blender 🙂

  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla
